We received a 94 point score for this coffee in April of 2017 from Coffee Review!
Sweet, honeysuckle aroma with saturated tropical flavors of passion fruit, young pineapple and mango followed with rich, spicy qualities of piny hops and cacao nib. This is a rarely experienced and very cleanly profiled Grade 1 natural process coffee.
The Kebel Aricha Mill is owned and operated by Surafel Birhanu and his family. His mill is supported by a group of approximately 700 family owned farms in the area surrounding the mill. Under Surafel’s management, the natural process is undertaken with great care toward both the meticulous sorting of ripe cherry as well as the fastidious turning of a very thin layer of cherry while it dries on the raised beds. The result is a beautifully clean rendition of the natural process.
After repose, we seal this coffee in Grain-Pro barrier packaging at origin in Ethiopia and then send on its way to our Roastery where we preserve the green coffee under hermetic seal until it is roasted as part of our Barrington Green Seal Program.Learn more about Barrington Coffee.
